Centurions’ 2020 Season Postponed

March 19, 2020

We are sorry to announce that the 2020 Season of the National Public Safety Football League has been suspended by the league due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This includes all practices and games until current bans and restrictions have been lifted on public and private gatherings.

All scheduled 2020 games will carry over to 2021, including rankings. Those teams that have already played in the 2020 season will carry over and count for the 2021 season. Those un-played games that were scheduled (which are all of the Centurions’ games), will be rescheduled with the respective dates in 2021, with no repeating of games.

Having said that, there is a glimmer of hope for some springtime football in LA. If and when restrictions are lifted on public and private gatherings, teams may reschedule games with other local teams, though these games will not count towards the 2021 rankings. We encourage all of our Loyal Legion of fans to follow up on social media or on our website for the latest in news about the team.

As much as we love playing football to raise funds and awareness for the Blind Children’s Center of Los Angeles, ultimately our priority is to take care of our families and those we interact with in our jobs. We thank all our fans, sponsors and supporters of the 2020 season and look forward to 2021, with our eye on the championship.
