Los Angeles Ends the Season on a Victory over Rival

The Centurions played their first game at Harvard-Westlake High School and did not disappoint their fans. The players jumped out to an early lead and did not look back, ultimately beating the LASD Grizzlies 26-0. The Centurions did so with a balanced attack of 100 passing yards and 150 on the ground.

Scoring was ignited by a 42 yard run that put the centurions on the board early in the first quarter. A touchdown with a blocked kick made the score 13-0 at the end of the first quarter. The second quarter had defensive high lights with the Centurions being the only ones to contribute points int the form of a 17-yard field goal.

The second half was led by a third quarter stand still. The Centurion defense allowed only 36-yards through the air for the entire game and 106 on the ground with one interception. This was no more evident than during this quarter. The Centurion offense finally pulled away in the last quarter of the game scoring twice. Once with a 31-yard running touchdown and with another 17 yard field goal showing the Grizzlies resilience in the red-zone.

This game was a great way to close the season and hopefully transition the Centurions into a successful 2024 run. Thanks to all who support us and we'll see you next year.
